Updated 4/27/21 – Mask In-store Policy Update
Gov. Ivey expired the mask mandate on Friday, April 9. We have kept our employee mask policy in place, but we committed to monitor the decline in COVID cases & increases in vaccinations to determine a time that would be safer to become optional.
Based on feedback from a staff survey along with updates from our local community leaders, we are updating our COVID policy beginning on Saturday, May 1. Our COVID policy will change as follows:
- We will continue the additional cleaning procedures to our daily cleaning checklist to include sanitizing high traffic areas of our store, warehouse, and back offices to help promote a safer environment for our patrons and our employees.
- We will continue to have checkout line markers so customers can safely wait in line 6 feet party.
- Face coverings WILL NOT be required by customers, but they are highly encouraged. We will ask that customers who feel ill or exhibit any COVID-19 or FLU like symptoms to not enter our store and utilize our online shopping experience.
- Face coverings WILL NOT be required by employees, but they are highly encouraged. We will continue to require any staff member who feels ill or exhibits any COVID-19 or FLU like symptoms to remain at home.
- We ask that all employees who choose to not mask to keep a face mask in their possession.
- Please be courteous of customers who choose to mask – if you approach a masked customer to assist them, please have the courtesy to slip yours on while providing assistance or interacting in close proximity.
- Please be courteous of co-workers who choose to mask – if you are working in close proximity to a masked co-worker, please have the courtesy to slip yours on if you will be within 6 feet or working together in a confined space.
The entire team at Eagle Eye is committed to providing exceptional service while continuing to uphold the public safety measures recommended by the State of Alabama, CDC, and the ADPH. We will continue to monitor COVID cases & will reinstate the mask policy if it becomes necessary.
