How to Clean Your Crocs

Crocs’ many different shoe styles offer casual style and comfort they can easily be worn anywhere! We have a couple tricks to ensure your Crocs stay clean and cared for. Keep reading for our top tips for how to clean your Crocs.

Croslite Material

This is the most common material for Crocs with their signature foam material. It is best to wash these shoes by hand or spot clean. Use mild soap and cold water, or you can throw the shoes in the washing machine on the gentle cycle.

Leather

There are a variety of leathers, so be sure you know the best cleaning practices for your shoes. In general, it is best to use a soft rubber sponge or slightly damp rag. Leather creams can help restore the shoes’ shine. You should avoid using harsh chemicals on Crocs’ leather because it could damage the shoes.

Wedges & Heels

For these shoes, it is best to spot clean them with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. Always try to avoid solvent cleaners because they can destroy the glue used to fuse the sole.

Canvas

For canvas shoes, it is best to spot clean. Use a damp rag or soft brush paired with mild soap to remove any stains or dirt.

Drying

After cleaning, you should air dry your Crocs. Leaving your shoes exposed to extreme heat, direct sun, or using drying machines can cause the shoes to shrink or warp.
