To prepare for the fall and winter season, we recently changed our
billboard on the circle near Chick-fil-A and Sam’s Club. In case you’re
wondering if that’s Chip Gains from HGTV’s Fixer Upper on our billboard…
it’s not. That is his doppelgänger, Jason Steele from Headland, with
his wife Katie and their kids, Maddie, Mason, and Macy Kate. The board
showcases several of the awesome fall Patagonia pieces we now have
in-stock for the whole family.
DOTHAN, AL – Eagle Eye Outfitters has been named a finalist for the 2016
Alabama Retailer of the Year awards. Mark and Susan Anderson, the
chief executive officer and chief financial officer, respectively, will
be honored Oct. 18 in Birmingham by the Alabama Retail Association in
cooperation with the UAB Collat School of Business during the Alabama
Retail Day luncheon. The Andersons and Eagle Eye Outfitters were
nominated by Hayden Camp with the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce.
Health.com recently published an article, “The Best Sandals for Your
Feet, According to Podiatrists.” As a shoe retailer we of course paid
close attention. Summer means sandals and sandals, while stylish, can
range in support for your feet.We were thrilled to find out we carried two of their doctor approved choices!

lot of different things to a lot of different people. Companies
spend millions of dollars each year developing philosophies around this
term because they understand that customer service is a direct
reflection of their organization. It is the single most important
aspect to achieving a growing, successful business.
The Outdoor USA Magazine Top 100 Retailers initiative recognizes the
leading outdoor specialty retailers in the country for their outstanding
work and entrepreneurial drive. Eagle Eye Outfitters was among the top 100 independent specialty outdoor retailers. We
are honored that they consider us among the top retailers in the

As a Grasstoots Outdoor Alliance
(GOA) member, Patagonia gives us the opportunity to use 1% of our
wholesale purchases each year (up to $5000) to award environmental
grants to the organization of our choice. If you look on their
merchandise tags, you can read about their 1% for the Planet initiative. Because of this iniative, Eagle Eye is donating their portion to the Forever Wild Trail.
